Snacks before temples

alt text In the morning, I stopped by Terminal 21 and got some snacks from coffee shops. I purchased a donut and coffee from a coffee shop, and then a custard pastry from BreadTalk

Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha

These are photos I took at the grand palace - they don’t really do it justice. In person, the palace is very intricate, has massive scale, and is quite shiny. I would highly reccomend seeing it for yourself!

I did not photograph the Emerald Buddha, since you’re not allowed to.

Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha)

About a five minute walk away is Wat Pho, which houses a massive reclining buddha inside of it. I don’t really know the history behind it, but it was still fascinating to see the sheer scale of it!

Both of these sights had strikingly beautiful grounds and architecture, which I don’t think I’m a good enough photographer to capture

Lunch at Emsphere

After walking around in the 90-degree heat, I really felt like ice cream, so I got protein ice cream topped with biscoff syrup.

I was quite spent for the whole day, and went back to my hotel to rest and work out.

Dinner at Pier 21

I tried tom saap soup (a Thai hot and sour soup), and was coughing because of how spicy it was. It was savory and delicious for only ฿33!

More snacks

Before going back to the hotel, I got all of these snacks from BreadTalk and 7-11. I’m so easily tempted by 10-baht items!
