Breakfast

I took today to relax a bit more since I was out all day yesterday. In the morning, I had fried pork and milk thai tea from the ICONSIAM mall near my hotel
After eating, I decided to visit Wat Arun since I hadn’t been yet. I went back to my hotel to get pants to cover my knees, and returned to the mall where there was a ferry station to the temple
The ferry didn’t have a scheduled departure for an hour, so I decided to just take a bike instead of waiting
Wat Arun

The palace was quite pretty, and was even better when I saw it at night!
When I was finished at the temple, it started getting crowded by visitors. I also noticed many people dressed up, and one person I asked said it was because the kings birthday is tomorrow
More snacks

I found a mall that looked interesting, and in the way there, I saw another one at one of my transit transfers (my route had the metro and bus), so I just got off and went to the one I saw
Once exploring the mall, I got a croffle (not sure what that is..) and a fried chicken roll with a drink from KFC. I rested there for a little while, and decided to head back
When I decided to leave, it had started raining. I tried catching a bus but didn’t get it, so I took a bike. It was pretty fun riding in the rain!

In the evening, I visited the Asiatique outdoor market. I found a 10-baht ice cream bar, and was craving more pad krapow

When I was sitting, a port officer got food out from a storage area nearby and fed this kitten. The cat sniffed it and did not eat. Then the worker came back, realized this, and fed it a different flavor.
The kitten decided it liked this one, and has reminded me that black cats across the world are selective - even when on the street!
Ferry

i tried taking the free ferry back to my hotel, but it went to Wat Arun and then back to the Asiatique market, so I took a bike after sitting on the boat for about 30 minutes.
